Updated

qargi upgrade #

Move the installed tool to a newer branch or tag of its origin.

Works on the root-owned checkout install.sh recorded (for example /opt/qargi). Without --approved it fetches the target, shows the commits and files that would change and prints a plan token. With --plan TOKEN --approved "..." it applies exactly that: a branch on the current branch moves forward only (fast-forward), another branch is checked out at its tip, a tag is checked out detached; install.sh --user then runs as you and the members to refresh are listed. The git commands that write into the checkout run through sudo (QARGI_SUDO names another command). When the members file (~/.qargi/config/agents.json) is not in the current shape, which every agent verb refuses, the plan and the end of the upgrade say so and how to redo it; nothing is changed for that. A member or agent cannot use it.
